Malta Branch is Getting a Makeover

Big things are coming to our Malta Branch—and we wanted you to be the first to know.

Here’s what to expect, and when. We’ll keep this page updated as the project moves forward.

    Through May 10, 2026

    Business as Usual

    Lobby and drive-thru are open during normal branch hours. Stop in, say hello, and take care of any in-branch banking before construction begins.

    Starting May 11, 2026

    Drive-Thru Temporarily Closes

    Construction gets underway and the drive-thru closes temporarily. Our lobby remains open during normal branch hours until Monday, June 1, at which point the full branch will close temporarily. Our team is happy to help you inside.

    Starting June 1, 2026 Now

    Full Branch Temporarily Closes

    The lobby joins the drive-thru in temporary closure as the renovation continues. In the meantime, our nearby branches are ready to serve you—and Exit 11 will be open Saturdays just for the occasion.

    Late Summer 2026 (Anticipated)

    Drive-Thru Reopens

    Drive-thru banking returns to Malta. Our lobby will remain closed a little longer while we put the finishing touches on the inside.

Effective Saturday, June 6, 2026, our Exit 11 Branch will temporarily open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to better serve Malta Branch customers during the renovation.

When does construction start?

Construction begins Monday, May 11, 2026, when our drive-thru closes temporarily. Our lobby will remain open during normal branch hours until Monday, June 1, 2026, at which point the full branch will close temporarily while construction is underway.

When will the Malta Branch reopen?

We anticipate the drive-thru reopening in late summer 2026, with the full branch to follow in fall 2026. We’ll update this page as those dates are confirmed.

Where can I bank in the meantime?

You may conduct any transaction at any of our nearby neighborhood Retail Branch locations. Our Ballston Spa, Milton, and Exit 11 branches are all conveniently located near Malta. You can also bank anytime at AdirondackTrust.com or through our WebWise mobile app.

Will Saturday hours be available somewhere else?

Yes! Effective Saturday, June 6, 2026, our Exit 11 Branch will temporarily open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to better serve Malta Branch customers during the renovation. Once Malta Branch renovations are complete, Exit 11 Branch hours will return to normal.

I have a safe deposit box at Malta. What should I do?

Lobby access for safe deposit boxes is available through Saturday, May 30, 2026. To discuss your options or make arrangements before that date, please call us at (518) 584-5844 or stop into any of our nearby branches.

Will my account information or services change?

No. Your accounts, debit cards, online and mobile banking, direct deposits, automatic payments, and all other services remain exactly the same throughout the renovation.

How will I know when the branch reopens?

We’ll keep this page updated, and we’ll notify customers by mail and email as we approach each milestone. You can also follow Adirondack Trust Company on social media for the latest news.
